Our Team

At Alamotero Land Surveyors we have a crew of professionals with a collaborative mix of local and regional knowledge. Our highly accredited staff strives to combine innovation with integrity. It is important that we keep our technology and customer service a step above the rest.

Baxter Pattillo

Baxter is a graduate of Alamogordo High School and went on to Texas Tech University to obtain his undergrad. He is working toward licensure for New Mexico Professional Surveyor through NMSU. With a keen eye for efficiencies and helping business expand through diversification, he brings an innovation to the table that unites audacity with precision. When not at work, Baxter enjoys everything outdoors from hunting and camping, to golf and snowboarding.

Larry Sterling

Larry grew up in the farmlands of Oklahoma, where he learned the ins and outs of cars from his father. After being drafted into the Army, he fell in love with surveying. Shortly after, he graduated from Albuquerque’s Technical Vocational Institute and continued his professional surveying career. Larry has experience that ranges from solar transits to UAV photogrammetry. He is the primary LS of the office and provides accurate and timely surveys from Alamotero’s office. His love of New Mexico has brought him to survey several counties and has experience throughout the state.

Kathryn Vincze

Originally from Wisconsin, having most recently moved from Florida, our Office Manager Kathryn comes from a background of Law, Health Care, and Real Estate. This rich set of experiences have assisted her in managing our survey office with best practices that allow us to provide the highest level of customer service for our client. Passionate and optimistic, Kathryn enjoys overcoming obstacles and surpassing expectations. Outside of work, Kathryn delights in the adventures of her seven Grandchildren, spending recreational time outdoors and creating custom hat designs for friends and family.

Spencer Sterling

Alamotero had the good fortune of Larry’s son, Spencer Sterling, joining the team with his array of skill sets. Having surveyed with his father since he was young, Spencer can take a survey job from start to finish with the experience of a seasoned PS. Spencer is tasked with managing the field crew and the final product in the draft room and has equipped himself with a UAV FAA Part 107 license. His interests are numerous, including cars, computers, geodetics, and cinema. He is currently enrolled in NMSU’s geomatics engineering program to become a professional surveyor.

Oscar Cole

Oscar comes from a background in construction as well as IT. Working in construction staking in Nevada for large subdivisions, he learned quite a bit in the industry and has since pivoted towards Project Management and tech. Since his beginning at Alamotero, Oscar has implemented methodologies to help with job tracking, leaned processes with his knowledge in process analysis, and has written programs to help with operations at Alamotero. When Oscar is not at work, he pursues his love for programming, data analytics, and writing.

Chris Camacho

Originally hailing from El Paso, T.X., with extensive travel throughout the Southwest and Mesoamerican regions, Chris Camacho brings a unique perspective and wealth of experience to the profession of Land Surveying.  A graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences and a lifelong enthusiast of the Arts, Chris brings this same level of passion for precision work and technology to Alamotero Land Surveyors. When not climbing mountains in search of property corners, you may find Mr. Camacho playing music, mountain biking, hiking on backcountry trails in search of native plants and archaeological relics, or riding his motorcycle.
